Scott Hirschbrunner is Director of Payment Integrity at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska, where he leads initiatives focused on claims accuracy, cost containment, and operational excellence. Prior to joining BCBSNE, he served as Director of Payment Integrity Concept Development at Optum, where he developed innovative solutions to improve payment accuracy and efficiency across the healthcare billing lifecycle. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Nebraska, with minors in Business Management and Communications, and brings extensive expertise in payment integrity, revenue cycle management, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care.
