Ryan Blackard is the vice president of marketing and product at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE). In his role, he oversees the company’s marketing and product development teams.
Previously, he led marketing, product development and strategic investments at Delta Dental of Iowa. Before that, Blackard led the direct marketing efforts for all of Mercer’s insurance products and financial services.
Blackard is active in community service and served as Chairman of the Heartland Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance and is an active Troop master in Trail Life USA.

Blackard earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from California State University, Fullerton.
