Dr. Reedy has served as the Chief Medical Examiner for the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences (ADFS) since July 2023, and supervised eight other medical examiners in three laboratories across Alabama. Dr. Reedy came to the ADFS in 2017 upon his retirement from the U.S. Navy after 26 years of honorable service.
