Shannon Barber is the Training & Education Specialist at the Women’s Center for Advancement and has been in the position for 2 1/2 years. Previously, Shannon worked as a Case Manager for the Women’s Center for Advancement and has a total of 15 years’ experience working within the human services field which includes experience with child and family services, and housing supportive services. Shannon has a BA in Human Relations from Doane University, and recently acquired her MS in Organizational Leadership from Bellevue University. Shannon is also a mom to a brilliant and hilarious 10-year-old son.
