Katie Welsh is an attorney and executive at a local nonprofit, the Women’s Center for Advancement. She began working for victims of domestic violence as a mediator in 2009 and eventually returned to school to study law and further develop her skills for serving people in need. Since earning her law license, Katie has devoted her legal career to advocating for victims. She brings extensive knowledge about domestic and sexual violence and trauma-informed care combined with experience in family law matters, protection order proceedings, Title IX proceedings, and humanitarian-based forms of immigration relief. When she isn’t at work, Katie enjoys sports, gardening, and hanging with her dogs, Alice and Grace.
